LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Mian Aslam Iqbal attended a luncheon hosted by the Pakistani community in Dubai.
A memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade and the Pakistan Business Council.
Provincial Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal while addressing a luncheon of the Pakistani community in Dubai said that UAE desk would be set up in the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade. He said that if you want, I am ready to establish a separate economic zone for the Pakistani community in the UAE. Mian Aslam Iqbal said that if anyone has 50 acres of land then we are ready to make his land a separate special economic zone. The provincial Minister said that Rs600 billion investment is being made in the cement sector in Punjab which will create employment opportunities as well as industrial and commercial activities will be enhanced. Provincial Ministers, Business Community and CEO PBIT Erfa Iqbal attended the ceremony.
