The first moon of Shawwal has appeared, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Thursday, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced.
According to reports, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Thursday.
A meeting of the Central Rout-e -Hilal Committee was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad. The meeting lasted for more than 5 hours. Besides, meetings of zonal and district crescent committees were also held at their respective places. Sources said that the first Shawwal is decided after the testimonies and Eid will be celebrated on Thursday.
It should be noted that the moon of Shawwal could not be seen in any country of the world including Saudi Arabia yesterday due to which today was the 30th day of fasting in most countries and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Thursday.
