Salman Khan and his sister summoned in alleged fraud case
Lahore, 9th July: Bollywood actor Salman Khan, his sister and 7 others associated with Being Human has been summoned by Chandigarh police in an alleged fraud case.
According to details, Chandigarh police in the Indian Punjab, have issued summons to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, his sister Alvira Khan and seven others linked with Salman Khan’s welfare organization ‘Being Human’ are named in an alleged fraud case.
According to reports from Indian media, a businessman named Arun Gupta lodged a complaint against Salman Khan, his sister Alvira, CEO of Being Human, a non-profit organization, and other officials in the case.

Arun Gupta claimed that two employees from Being Human asked him to open a franchise for the organization and they also asked him to invest Rs 2 crore.
Gupta told ANI news that those employees pressurized him to open a jewelry showroom and said that Salman Khan would come for its inauguration.
Trader Arun Gupta alleged that after opening the showroom, no one contacted him from the organization. Later he said the organization called him to meet Salman Khan.

“I met him and Khan promised to handle the matter himself. Now a year and a half have passed and I have not received anything. Salman did not respond to my letters,” he added.

Speaking to ANI regarding the case, Chandigarh Police SP Ketan Bansal said that Salman Khan and others have been given till July 13 to respond. If there is any criminal activity in this case or if there is any culprit, action will be taken against him.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in the movie ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ opposite Disha Patani. His upcoming projects include ‘Tiger 3’ with Katrina Kaif and ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ opposite Pooja Hegde.
