Sania Mirza makes a shocking revelation in her recent post

New Delhi, 19th January: Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza has revealed about contracting the coronavirus pandemic.

Baaghi TV: Sania Mirza disclosed on Monday that she had been infected with COVID-19 at the beginning of 2021.

The tennis star, in a post on her social media accounts, Twitter and Instagram, said she had contracted COVID-19. However, she is now “healthy and absolutely fine”.

Sharing her scary experience, Mirza said, “I was lucky to not have any major symptoms for the most part of it, but I was in isolation and the toughest part was to stay away from my 2-year-old and family.”

The tennis star also said that she could not even imagine what people and their families were going through when their loved ones are sick, in hospital, all alone and by themselves.

She expressed, “It was scary as you aren’t very sure what to expect and hear so many different things and stories, you get a new symptom every day and the uncertainty of it is tough to deal with not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well.”

Furthermore, she said, “She was fortunate to be more or less OK throughout it all; however, being away from my family was the scariest thing, to not know when I could see them again.”

Sania Mirza also revealed that despite taking all the necessary precautions during the pandemic, she had contracted the virus, which is no joke.

She concluded her post by saying, “We must do everything we can to protect our friends and family, wear your masks, wash your hands, and protect yourself and your loved ones. We are in this fight together.”

Sania Mirza is an Indian professional Tennis player who has won six Grand Slam titles in her career. Throughout her career, Mirza has established herself as by far the most successful Indian female tennis player ever and one of the highest-paid and most high-profile athletes in the country.

Mirza got married to Shoaib Malik, Pakistani cricket captain in April 2010.
