Sania Saeed points out the faults in our Dramas

Lahore, 6th July: Pakistan showbiz industry’s talented actress Sania Saeed has carved a niche for herself in Pakistan. She is no doubt a powerhouse of acting.
With her graceful personality and brilliant acting skills, she is far ahead since she came into an acting career in 1989. Her appearance in Haseena Moin’s drama ‘Aahat’ gave her instant popularity. Sania has been working in theatre and television for over two decades now.

The simple yet powerful actress, while talking to the actress Iffat Omar on her online show ‘Say It All With Iffat Omar’, pointed out the flaws of our current drama industry.
According to her the concept of telling a story to the audience has completely changed now. There were days when a story was narrated to elevate, bond, and to understand the societal issues.
Contrary to this, these days we want to tell stories to exploit something which we already know and which we have already experienced. Our intent is faulty.

Sania Saeed also pointed out that actors these days don’t explore and mingle with people therefore they lack personal experience and human emotions in their work.
Saeed further said that there is a dire need for studios, equipment, and a place where we can send our technical people for the training. We need to invest in our people and in our structures.
