KARACHI (10th Nov, 2019): Former captain of Pakistan Cricket team, Sarfaraz Ahmed opens up on his removal from captaincy.

According to details, while talking to media in Karachi, Sarfaraz Ahmed has revealed that managing director of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Wasim Khan told him about the PCB’s decision.

He said, “Wasim Khan drove from Lahore to come and tell me about the PCB’s decision to remove me as captain. I thanked him and said it’s fine sir, you have done what you think is best for Pakistan.”

Reportedly, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had removed Sarfaraz Ahmed as captain from all formats, with immediate effect, last month.

The wicket-keeper-batsman was also dropped from the side for the tour of Australia and had been asked by the PCB to regain form in domestic cricket, inorder to be a part of the side in the future.
