Saudi Arab announces its support for coronavirus

Saudi Arabia, 9th March: According to Baaghi TV, Saudi Arab announces it’s full support to WHO to fight against coronavirus, their ruler Shah Salman has announced US $ 1 million aid to World Health Organization to prevent coronavirus.

Advisor to the Imperial Royal, Dr Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, told the media that the aid is being sanctioned under humanitarian sympathy and Saudi Arabia will step forward to fight coronavirus with the international health organizations.

As per sources, the number of people infected with the virus has exceeded 100,000 in the world, while the death toll has risen to 3,360.

Italy’s Chief of army staff has been tested positive against the virus and has confined himself to his house while the other army chief has taken his position.

Qatar temporarily suspends entry for travellers from 14 countries, Qatari officials say doing so is an attempt to curb the spread of the virus. The countries which have been banned include Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Nepal, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria and Thailand.

Qatar also banned tourist visas for Pakistan to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, and 48 passengers flying from Karachi to Doha on QR 611 and 48 from QR 615 flying from Islamabad to Doha have been offloaded.

Coronavirus has become a global threat and many countries are stepping up to support WHO to contain it’s spread worldwide. Saudi Arab had banned the entry of pilgrims for Umrah on account of coronavirus and stopped people coming from Iran.
