Riyadh, June 25th: Curfews and lockdowns imposed on all cities and towns in Saudi Arabia as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus have ended. During the curfew and lockdown, welfare organizations in different cities of the country, in collaboration with the government, were in the forefront in distributing groceries and other necessities to the needy. In the last few days, it has been tasked with delivering necessities to 35,000 families. Talking to media, Director General of the organization Mohi-ud-Din Hakami said that the volunteers of the organization carried out the welfare scheme in a very organized manner. Volunteers prepared a computerized list of needy and deserving people living in all the neighborhoods of the city, which greatly facilitated the field team working in the ground and did not waste their time. Al-Hakami added that during the curfew and lockdown, special permits were issued to volunteers to better carry out welfare work.
