Saudi Arabia announces new restrictions for pilgrims

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced regulations for pilgrims coming form outside of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to reports.

Local media confirmed that the Ministry has announced five mechanisms to be implemented. According to which: the foreign pilgrims must move to Inaya Center in Mecca at least six hours prior to the Umrah, they must verify whether they have been vaccinated or not, they must be wearing digital wristbands, and they must submit their bracelets upon arrival at the Shubaika Assembly Center.

The pilgrims must also ensure that they abide by the date and time issued to them for performing Umrah.

According to reports, the pilgrims are further required to spend a minimum of three days in quarantine within their hotels after arriving in Saudi Arabia.
