Saudi Arabia will host 24,000 tourists in ten days

Jeddah, Oct 9 :Saudi Arabia is ready to welcome twenty four thousand tourists in just 10 days.

On 27 September Saudi Arabia announced its first tourist policy and said Kingdom will allow tourists to explore this historical country.The main purpose of this tourist policy is to diversify its economy away from oil export.

According to details from Saudi Foreign Ministry officials they said “In 10 days, some 24,000 foreigners entered Saudi Arabia on a tourist visa,”.

Before this tourist visa policy announcement Kingdom was only giving visa to Muslim Pilgrims for Hajj and Umrah and to Foriegn workers from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh mostly.

To encourage this tourist Visa policy saudia have decided to allow unmarried couples to live in same hotel room.
