Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman is being a little too generous on Lindsay Lohan

Reports of Lindsay Lohan getting closer to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman are all over the international media. Although Lohan’s representatives have denied the rumors, it is believed that the Royal Prince, who has a barbarous repute, is the reason behind the actress-turned-businesswoman’s lavish lifestyle going up a notch further, as she has not only been flying around in his private jets but has also been gifted a credit card.

Some of Lohan’s close friends claim to have witnessed the two interact through texts and are adamant on calling it a growing friendship. However, her reps, denying it, informed that Lohan met MbS only once, at a Formula One Grand Prix race, a year ago. They further shot down the accusations of the actress using the Royal Prince’s credit card.

According to Page Six, the news outlet that reported the increasing intimacy between the Hollywood actress and Mohammad bin Salman, “the bloodthirsty crown prince of Saudi Arabia” has been “flying her around in his jets and showering her with presents — including a gift-wrapped credit card”. The outlet further claimed that sources from her close circles have confirmed that it is not unusual for actress, who is permanently living in Dubai since 2016, to be courted by Middle Eastern dignitaries as they drool over her.

International newspapers reporting the affair have widely been using words like bloodthirsty and vicious for Mohammad Bin Salman and calling the alleged relationship ‘troubling’ and ‘bizarre’. The Saudi Royal Prince, who according to The Wall Street Journal is nearly worth half a billion dollars and owns not only private jets but flying cars, animatronic dinosaurs and even an artificial moon, is suspected by the CIA and Turkish investigators to have ordered the brutal murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The Middle East Eye mentioned a report based on Emirati intelligence, which claimed that Mohammad bin Salman wanted to close the chapter of Khashoggi’s assassination as soon as possible.

33 year old Prince, who in future will be ruling the Saudi Kingdom as his father, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud’s heir to throne, was thought to have influenced the loosening of restrictions placed upon women under the “guardianship laws” – laws that made it compulsory for women to solicit permission and/or company of a male custodian for nearly all major life issues ranging from travelling abroad and driving to work and leisure. On the other hand, Lohan, in 2018, expressed her wish to make an all-female film, titled “Frame”, exploring themes related to the Saudi culture including women issues.It must be kept in mind that, if the rumor turns out to be true, Lindsay Lohan would not be the first one to be dating someone of Royal lineage. The recent years have witnessed a British Prince falling in love with an American actress; a love affair that lead to Meghan Markle becoming the Duchess of Sussex.
