Lahore: Pakistan’s Liquid Foreign Reserves Position is weakening as during the week ended 24-December-2021, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reserves decreased by US$298 million to US$ 17,855.3 million.

The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$ 24,273.6 million on 24-December-2021. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:-

i) Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 17,855.3 million
ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks : US$ 6,418.3 million
iii) Total liquid foreign reserves : US$ 24,273.6 million.

During the week ended 24-December-2021, SBP reserves decreased by US$ 298 million to US$ 17,855.3 million.
