SBP’s reserves up by $3m to $17,625.9m
LAHORE: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)’s reserves have increased by US$ 3 million to US$ 17,625.9 million in during the week ended 13-Aug-2021.
The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$
24,668.1 million on 13-Aug-2021. The break-up of the foreign reserves
position is as under: (i) Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of
Pakistan: US$ 17,625.9 million
ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 7,042.2 million
iii) Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 24,668.1 million
Earlier, SBP’s reserves decreased by US$ 223 million to US$ 17,622.7
million as made external debt repayments and payments for the import
of Covid-19 vaccine totaling US$ 245 million.
The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$24,644.0 million on 06-Aug-2021.
The total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at US$ 24,644.0 million.
The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: –
Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$ 17,622.7 million
ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 7,021.3 million
Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 24,644.0 million.
