SC summons Imran Khan in Quetta’s lawyer murder case

The Supreme Court of Pakistan held heating of the petition against the nomination of chairman PTI in the Quetta’s  lawyer murder case.

The Supreme Court summoned Chairman PTI on Monday in a personal capacity and remarked that the Chairman PTI should appear in the Supreme Court at 10.30 am on Monday.

Justice Yahya Afridi remarked that applicant will first have to appear in court.

Justice Mazahir Naqvi while talking to the lawyer of Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman said that he wanted the entire FIR to be dropped.

“Read what you have requested, if you challenged the matter related to you in the FIR, it was a different matter, you have challenged the entire FIR, how can the FIR of murder be declared null and void,” he questioned.

The prosecutor general of Balochistan sought time to submit the answer, the court gave time to the parties to submit the answer, the case was heard by a three-member bench headed by Justice Yahya Khan Afridi.

The case of the murder of a lawyer in Balochistan, Chairman PTI has challenged the nomination in the Supreme Court in the case of murder.

A petition was filed by lawyer Latif Khosa against the decision of the Balochistan High Court.

The petition pleaded to quash the FIR.

It should be noted that Advocate Abdul Razzaq was shot dead in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan.

Later, PMLN Atta Tarar accused Imran Khan of murder during a press conference and a case of murder was also registered against Imran Khan. Lawyer Abdul Razak had filed an application against Imran Khan with reference to the proceedings under Article 6.
