SCCI, Nayatel resolve to work jointly on Incubation Centre

Lahore:  Syed Wahaj Siraj, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder Nayatel, called on Mian Imran Akbar, President Sialkot Chamber for a meeting to discuss avenues of cooperation and promotion of ICT Exports from the Industrial City of Sialkot.
Mian Imran Akbar lauded the role of Nayatel in spearheading the tech revolution in Pakistan by providing cutting-edge Internet and Cloud and scores of other ICT services to the industry and the consumer market. The President Chamber said that Pakistan was making strides in domains of Software Exports, E-Commerce, and Freelancing and that the tech industry owed a great deal to high-speed internet providers like Nayatel. On the occasion, Mr. Akbar shared his vision for a bustling IT Industry in Sialkot apart from already established sectors. He was of the view that the talent of the youth of Sialkot should be channelized in this domain and that the IT graduates of the city should be given a platform to exploit the tremendous potential of the global IT market. The President solicited support from Nayatel Chief in realizing the vision and building necessary infrastructure in Sialkot.

Mr. Wahaj Siraj appreciated the industrial dynamism of Sialkot and said that he had a profound attachment with the city because of Dr. Allama Iqbal and the legacy of producing entrepreneurial laurels. He said that Sialkot had become a global phenomenon thanks to its hardworking craftsmen and business leaders working in various sectors. He also acknowledged the self-reliance of the people of Sialkot which had led them to successfully execute mega projects like Airport, Dry port, and Airline. Mr. Siraj stressed that the model of Sialkot should be replicated across Pakistan. During the meeting, Mr. Wahaj Siraj announced that Nayatel would soon be launching in Sialkot with cutting-edge services for both the Corporate and Consumer market. He also mentioned offering tailor-made services for SMEs of Sialkot including secured email servers, cloud-based camera security, and penetration testing. Moreover, He assured the President and Executive Members of his full support in realizing the vision of establishing an IT Export Sector in Sialkot.

Mian Imran Akbar, President, and Mr. Wahaj Siraj CEO Nayatel resolved to work jointly on the project of a state-of-the-art Incubation Centre in Sialkot on the model of Ignite and National Incubation Centre (NIC). Both the gentlemen also agreed to work for the establishment of Sialkot Software Technology Park. The projects would be aimed to motivate the youth of the city to initiate ICT ventures. The President said that with the establishment of a thriving IT Industry, Sialkot’s exports could grow significantly in the years to come.
