Schools to reopen in September
Lahore, 8th July: Educational institutes across Pakistan will reopen in the month of September.
According to Baaghi TV, it has been announced that all the schools will be opening in the first week of September.
As per the information from Pakistan Government, it has just been announced on Wednesday that the educational institutes across the country will reopen in the first week of September.
The decision was made in a meeting presided by the Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood along with the provincial education ministers.
Thailand schools reopen with strict hygiene rules
Sources said the meeting decided to reopen schools with all the COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) in place. “Schools will be reopened after taking a look at the coronavirus situation in the country. The final decision to reopen schools will be taken by the National Command and Control Centre,” sources added.
The education minister had added that the education ministry, was in consultation with those countries which had opened schools under various SOPs through UNICEF.
It may be remembered that the educational institutes in Pakistan had been closed since March after the deadly pandemic surfaced the country.
