Lahore, 2nd July: Pakistani screenwriter and producer Asma Nabeel passed away after battling a long battle with cancer. According to reports, Asma Nabeel, the famous writer of super hit drama ‘Khaani’ passed away on Thursday in Karachi after suffering from cancer disease. A post on Asma’s Facebook account that was penned down by her sister-in-law stated, “With a heavy heart I have to break this news that my bhabhi, Asma Nabeel, is no longer with us.” Asma Nabeel was a poet and a breast cancer survivor who fought with her illness bravely. She modeled for clothing brands despite her illness. After the tragic news, prominent stars expressed condolences on Asma’s death. TV star and model Aijaz Aslam took to his Twitter account to express grief over the loss of a shining star of the industry.
