SDS to Celebrate ‘International Women’s Day’ 2023
Sindh Development Society (SDS) organized a meeting on the planning of celebrating “International Women’s Day” at its head office here in Hyderabad. Paras Ghaffar welcomed the guests. He stated that SDS has been working since 1994 for the development and empowerment of youth, girls, and women in Sindh. Adding that there are multiple types of calls for proposals and development initiatives by organizations and SDS needs to participate in the funding process with an innovative approach in order to implement projects which aim to train communities on how to catch fish rather than giving fish in hand to eat. Furthermore, he also shared his previous experience of achieving funding through writing proposals.
