Senate passes a unanimous resolution on Yasin Malik
Lahore, 18th January: The Senate unanimously passed a resolution in favour of the Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik on Monday.
Baaghi TV Report: A resolution was unanimously passed in the Senate in favour of Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik and Aasiya Andrabi.
The Upper House strongly condemned the Indian Army’s atrocities on Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik, who fought for independence. The House strongly condemned the inhumane treatment meted out to him by keeping him in Tihar Jail.
The Upper House has called on the international community to take cognizance of Indian atrocities on Kashmiri leaders and release all Kashmiri political leaders, including Yasin Malik.
Similarly, the resolution against the unwarranted detention of Kashmiri woman leader Aasiya Andrabi also demanded that the government of Pakistan should take strict action and force India at the international level to release the Kashmiri leaders immediately.
The resolution calls for the release of all Kashmiris from detention, an end to oppression and violence against them, and for the implementation of UN resolutions to give Kashmiris their right to self-determination.
