Senate worker goes on trial for harassing women

A case has been enlisted against a Senate worker who purportedly harassed a lady in the government capital, sources revealed on  Wednesday.

In a video, which circulated around the web via online media, a lady should be visible becoming suddenly angry at a man about shooting her without assent. The lady continued to request that he show the video, however the man wouldn’t coordinate and fled.

Islamabad police considered the video, reached the lady, and enlisted a body of evidence against the individual.

In the principal data report (FIR), the lady has said that she had halted by an ATM in Islamabad, and the individual began recording a video of her.

“I asked the individual for what valid reason he was shooting the video. At this, the man conceded that he was recording me and made a run for it,” the lady said in the FIR.

In the interim, Senate authorities informed media outlets that the man, Rana Azhar, is a 18-grade worker of the Senate’s administrative branch.

Afterward, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani suspended the public authority official and requested an investigation into the matter.
