Baaghi TV: Disgusted by the PCB’s strict restrictions, senior national cricketers turned have down domestic contracts and settled for a one-month temporary contract. They say the agreement should be drafted according to their terms.
Media sources claim that six cricketers, including Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz and Shoaib Malik, demanded a draft under their terms at the start of the national T20 tournament, saying they would like to go home if the Pakistan Cricket Board does not accept the contract.
After the draft was amended, however, the players accepted a one-month contract during which they would participate in the national T20 tournament, abide by the rules of the PCB and make future decisions after October 20th. Reportedly, the players will be free after a one-month contract.
Sources said that Mohammad Aamir is the only senior cricketer who, unlike other players, has signed contracts for two events with the willingness to play ODIs and T20s.
