Senior TV, film actor Talat Iqbal passes away

Renowned senior artist of Pakistan Drama Industry, Talat Iqbal, has passed away in the United States. Recently, the actor lost one of his daughters too due to which his condition deteriorated. 

According to reports, veteran actor Talat Iqbal has passed away in the United States which has been confirmed by his family.

Family sources say that Talat Iqbal was undergoing treatment in Dallas, Texas, USA. It was reported that the actor was unconscious and on a ventilator.

In this regard, Talat Iqbal’s daughter Sumi Hussain said that her father did not have coronavirus but was on medication, and one of the pills got stuck in his respiratory tract.

She said that her younger sister had also passed away two weeks ago. After the death of her younger sister, her father’s health also deteriorated and as such, he had been undergoing treatment for the past 10 days.

It may be recalled that Talat Iqbal had been living in Texas for a long time and played the lead role in many dramas and films in the 70’s and 80’s.

The actor’s funeral prayers will be held today after Friday prayers at Masjid-ur-Rehman and burial will be held at Restland Cemetery.
