Karachi: Many areas could not be drained after rains yesterday. Rainwater is still available in homes, and traffic flow is slow due to rainwater on major highways.
According to the reports of Baaghi TV, after heavy rains in Karachi yesterday, the situation in the city is still the same as before. Rainwater could not be extracted from many areas like the previous rains.
In this regard, the sources said that rain water has been extracted from Shara-e-Faisal and other major highways. The water of Gujjar Nalla still stands in the side streets. Rain and sewage water accumulates in different areas. There were piles of dirt everywhere in the city railway colony.
Drainage could not be done in New Karachi, Surjani, North Nazimabad. There is rain water near Sohrab Goth Bridge and Shafiq Moar. The situation worsened on Hawke’s Road from Gulbai to Maripur.
Although the wreckage remained on Hawke’s Bay Road, the fractional rain drove it out. Pits on Hawke’s Bay Road and standing water in places is affecting the flow of traffic.
