On the occasion of India’s Independence Day on 15th August, the Sikh organization, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), has announced plans to hold a protest rally outside the Indian Embassy in Washington.

SFJ’s General Counsel, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, stated that the rally would take place outside the Indian Embassy in Washington on India’s Independence Day. During the protest, the Indian flag will be set on fire as a symbol of their opposition to India’s actions. Furthermore, Pannun revealed that a Khalistan Referendum will also be held in Washington, D.C., on 17th August.

Pannun stated that the Indian Embassy in Washington, is a center of terrorist activities and predicted that India would disintegrate by 2047.

The global Sikh community continues to display unity and determination in its struggle for self-determination, and now, more than ever, the world is being urged to witness the injustices perpetrated by the Modi government against both Muslims and Sikhs in India.
