Lahore, 14th December: Pakistan’s notable celebrities slammed the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s rally that was held on Sunday at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, showbiz celebrities had expressed concern for putting people’s lives at risk after the PDM rally was held in Lahore yesterday.
Celebrities took to their Twitter handles and bashed the Opposition for taking the risk of holding rallies amid the COID-19 spike.
Actor Shaan Shahid expressed on Twitter that Imran Khan has won the peoples’ trust:

Singer-actor Farhan Saeed took to his Twitter and asked the authorities to clarify the restrictions on cinemas and weddings while the PML-N is holding Jalsa.
If according to Pml N jalsas are harmless and it doesnt spread the virus , why are their restrictions on concerts ,weddings and cinemas ? Could you @WaseemBadami please ask the authorities , because a lot of people are suffering due to this. @sayedzbukhari @ImranKhanPTI

Similarly, his wife, actor-model-VJ Urwa Hocane remarked:

TV actor Muneeb Butt bashed Mahmood Khan Achakzai, member of the National Assembly from the Milli Awami Party KPK, on speaking against the Lahori people:

Quoting Achakzai, he said, “Lahori Punjabis, together with the Indian Punjabis and the English, tried to seize the territory of Afghanistan. Shame on Achakzai for speaking against Urdu Speaking bros in Karachi jalsa and now Punjabis!”
Aamir Liaquat Hussain, member National Assembly and TV anchor could not hold back from mocking the Opposition on telecasting the number of attendees:

Actress and TV host Veena Malik also took to her Twitter account to express her disgust over the Opposition:

It should be noted that the final public meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to expel the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) concluded on Sunday in Lahore.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and other leaders were in attendance at the PDM meeting on Sunday at Minar-e-Pakistan.
