Shadab Khan says Sarfraz Ahmed will ‘always be my captain’
Dec 22, 2021: In a fan question answer session, Shadab Khan called wicket keeper Sarfraz Ahmed his “teacher” and said that Sarfraz Ahmed will always be my captain.
In a question and answer session on social networking site Twitter, Shadab Khan said, “Sarfraz Ahmed taught me how to lead, how to take care of the team, how to fight for his country and colleagues. Yes, my teacher will always be the captain.”
To another question, Shadab said that his favorite captain in Pakistan Super League 7 will be Sarfraz Ahmed.
When asked if Shaheen Shah Afridi is suitable for the leadership of Lahore Qalandars, he said yes he can be the captain. To a question, the cricketer said that his favorite match in T20 2021 is the match to be played between Pakistan and India.
Asked which PSE franchise he would like to choose if given a chance, Shadab Khan said, “I will always choose Islamabad United unless they decide to release me on their own.”
Asked by a fan, Shadab Khan said, “I have never shown bad behavior with my teammates on the field. Junior cricketers are my brothers.” When asked to say a word about Hassan Ali, Rizwan, and Shahid Afridi, he called the pacer a brother, the wicket-keeper Better the champion and the former star all-rounder a motivator.
When national cricketer Sharjeel Khan asked him when he would get married, Shadab said, “Brother Sharjeel, you talk now, now I will send you the number.” Shadab named Cristiano Ronaldo his favorite footballer.
In a message to the fans, Shadab Khan said that things will go up and down, never give up. Always remember, you can only do the best you can, leave the rest to Allah.
