Shahbaz Sharif bail hearing in Lahore High Court

The NAB prosecutor said that Hamza Shahbaz is accused of transferring Rs 533 million. Shahbaz Sharif had assets of Rs 2.1 million in 1990. In 1998, Shahbaz Sharif’s assets became Rs 41 million. In 1997, Shahbaz Sharif became the Chief Minister of Punjab. In 1998, it increased from 2.1 million to 1.48 million.

In 2018, the value of his assets reaches 7 billion 32 crore. When Hamza Shahbaz used to go on political campaigns, people used to give party funds. The lawyer said that NAB does not have the answer as to where the money came from. Shahbaz Sharif’s bail application was heard by a three-member full bench headed by Justice Ali Baqir Najafi. Other judges include Justice Alia Neelam and Justice Shahbaz Rizvi. A full bench was constituted by Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Qasim Khan on the dissenting note of Justice Asjad Javed Gharal.

PML-N leaders Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sanaullah, Rana Arshad and other PML-N leaders were also present in the court on the occasion of Shahbaz Sharif’s bail application. Shahbaz Sharif had filed a bail application in the Lahore High Court. The petition states that the reference of money laundering has been filed and the trial is going on. No transaction is in the name of Shahbaz Sharif. Shahbaz Sharif said that he has been in jail for several months, all the records are with NAB, NAB should not recover, the court should order his release on bail.
