Opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif has filed an application for exemption from attendance. The petition has taken a stand that Coronavirus is positive, signs are still present, I am in isolation, I cannot appear, the court should accept the request for exemption from attendance.
The court has summoned Shahbaz Sharif in person for the indictment. Shahbaz Sharif was to be indicted today. Even at the last hearing, Shahbaz Sharif did not appear in the court due to the coronavirus. Shahbaz has also been summoned. At the last hearing, the court had said that both the accused must appear in court.
It is to be noted that the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif has become a target of Coronavirus and he has quarantined himself at home. China has offered treatment to Shahbaz Sharif, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Air Chief, Former Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and others have contacted Shahbaz Sharif and prayed for his recovery.
PML-N leader Ataullah Tarar said that Shahbaz Sharif was summoned to the NAB in these circumstances and his life was endangered. He informed the NAB several times in writing that Mian Shahbaz Sharif was suffering from cancer and his immunity is lower than the general public, even offered to investigate on the video link but the NAB did not agree.
