Shahbaz Sharif to visit Karachi in show of solidarity?

Baaghi TV: PML-N Secretary General Ahsan has said that President and Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif will go to Karachi for solidarity with the people, Shahbaz Sharif will arrive in Karachi on Wednesday, September 2 on a one-day visit.

In Karachi, Shahbaz Sharif will meet prominent social activist Faisal Edhi. PML-N President will meet the families affected by torrential rains and floods. Shahbaz Sharif will visit PML-N office in Nazimabad, and will brief workers on the flood situation as well as relief operations in Karachi and Sindh.

Recent rains in Karachi have destroyed infrastructure, road near Governor House Rangers headquarters, trailer stuck, traffic jams on Korangi Industrial Area, Jam Sadiq Bridge and Causeway, KPT Interchange and Qayyumabad, long queues formed.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department also predicted the seventh spell of the monsoon season in Karachi from today. Weather forecasters issued a warning, saying there was a risk of urban flooding in low-lying areas. The 89-year-old August rain record has been broken so far in Shar-e-Quaid.
