Shaheen Shah’s engagement to Shahid Afridi’s daughter is official now

Lahore, 7th March: Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is to be engaged to former captain Shahid Afridi’s daughter.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, on Saturday night it emerged that Shaheen Shah Afridi has asked for the cricket legend Shahid Afridi’s daughter’s hand in marriage.

Shaheen Afridi’s father, Ayaz Khan confirmed that the family had asked Shahid Afridi for his daughter’s hand in marriage and had received a positive response.

He said that an engagement ceremony will take place soon.

According to reports, both families have reached a mutual understanding and that a formal engagement will be announced in some time.

Ayaz Khan also told the media that both families have longstanding relations and Shahid Afridi’s family has agreed to the proposal.

As per reports from the Geo News the marriage proposal had been in discussion for the past two years.

Shahid Afridi said that since his daughter is studying at the moment and Shaheen is playing cricket, the engagement has not yet been formally announced.

They informed that the engagement will be formalised soon before the wedding that is expected in two years’ time.
