Lahore, 7th March: Former Pakistani cricket captain Shahid Afridi has finally responded to the news of his daughter’s engagement to Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Baaghi TV: According to reports, former skipper Shahid Afridi has finally come out to announce the news of his daughter’s engagement to Shaheen Shah Afridi since rumours began circulating on social media.
Shahid Afridi took to his Twitter account and said, “Shaheen’s family approached my family for my daughter. Both families are in touch, matches are made in heaven, if Allah wills this match will be made too. My prayers are with Shaheen for his continued success on and off the field.”

As reported earlier, both families have confirmed that Shaheen Shah Afridi has sought Shahid Afridi’s daughter’s hand in marriage.
The two families have reportedly reached an understanding and a formal engagement will be announced soon.
As per reports, since Shaheen is playing cricket and Shahid Afridi’s daughter is still studying, the engagement has not yet been formally announced.
