Shahnawaz Dahani undergoes nasal surgery ahead of PSL 7
Dec 28, 2021: Shahnawaz Dahani has had a surgery to remove stone stuck in nose since childhood while also getting surgical treatment for a deflected nasal septum that he says was a result of a childhood injury.
As per a report by Geo News, Pakistan national cricket team fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani has undergone surgery to remove a small pebble that has accumulated in his nose since childhood and he says that he is feeling better now. The 23-year-old Pakistani cricket star had to undergo nose surgery at a private hospital in Karachi, where doctors removed a small stone that had been stuck in his nose since childhood.
The fast bowler said on Twitter that he had undergone nasal septum surgery. He wrote in his tweet, “I have been having difficulty breathing for a long time due to deviation of nasal septum.” The player says he is feeling better now.
According to sources, the nasal bone of Dahani, which was affected after the accident in childhood, was also repaired during the surgery. Doctors have said that Dahani will fully recover before the Pakistan Super League (PSL), in which he will represent Multan Sultans.
Shahnawaz Dahani has been discharged from the hospital after his two-hour surgery and has been told that his next check-up will be on January 4.
In his tweet he also said that for the surgery, he had consulted the medical team of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and his family.
His well wishers and fans conveyed their best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery.
