Shaniera Akram supports #PakistanAgainstChildAbuse

Karachi, 20th October: Shaniera Akram, a social activist and the wife of former national cricket team captain Wasim Akram, has spoken out against child sexual abuse in Pakistan.

Baaghi TV: Shaniera Akram is very active on social media and seems to be raising her voice on the issues of society. She is often seen raising voice against abuse and molestation in the country.

Recently, Shaniera Akram wrote on her Twitter handle that sexual exploitation is taking place in public places all over Pakistan.

Sexual abuse is happening in most common places all over Pakistan. If you are in a public & someone touches you inappropriately, I’m giving you permission to turn around, Point your finger at them & scream as loud as you can “MUJHE HAATH MAT LAGAO”. #PakistanAgainstChildAbuse

If you are in public and someone touches you inappropriately, you must have the courage to respond,” she wrote.

“If you are a victim of this kind of treatment, I will allow you to shout at him and warn him not to touch me,” she wrote.

She has also used the hashtag ‘PakistanAgainstChildAbuse’.

Mrs Akram is very passionate about her cause and wants everyone in the country to raise their voice against physical and mental abuse.
