Shehbaz instructs MPAs to enforce official prices

Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz Sharif claimed on Thursday that the bureaucracy and political officials were resolved on providing respite to the masses after the substantial increase in prices of essential goods.

He further said that the elected representatives, political aides and ministers were adjured to ensure the official prices of commodities in every city & town. Sharif added that the measure would lessen the burden on the masses’ shoulders in these difficult times.

The newly-elected CM called on the lawmakers to inspect each city and town of Punjab & enforce the official prices of goods and commodities as fixed by the government.

He said that the performances of deputy and assistant commissioners would be evaluated on the basis of concrete steps taken by them to ensure the official prices. He added that the steps, as well as their outcomes would be monitored by the government in every district of Punjab and reports regarding this would be prepared.
