PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has officially confirmed that the party’s legal team has given the green light for former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan on October 21. This announcement underscores Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to face the law and uphold the Constitution.

Nawaz Sharif, who has been in self-imposed exile since 2019, initially left for London due to medical reasons in the midst of his seven-year jail sentence. During his absence from legal proceedings, he was declared a proclaimed offender in the Al Azizia and Avenfield graft cases.

Last month, Shehbaz Sharif had already made it clear that his elder brother would be returning to the country on October 21, and the PML-N reiterated their determination to confront any challenges that may arise upon Nawaz’s return from London.

In a recent development, a fresh medical report for Nawaz Sharif has been submitted to the Lahore High Court. The report mentions that the PML-N leader still experiences some residual anginal symptoms, necessitating ongoing medical monitoring both in London and Pakistan.”
