Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza granted release for how many days?

Lahore, 23rd November: For how many days can Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz remain on parole?

According to a Baaghi TV report, the Punjab Home Department has recommended the release of Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz on parole for five days.

Earlier, Deputy Secretary-General PML-N Ataullah Tarar submitted a request for parole of Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz, requesting that both be granted parole to attend the funeral of Begum Shamim Akhtar.

The petition further said that there is no greater shock than the passing away of the mother, people from all over the country have to come to offer condolences, therefore Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz should be released on parole immediately for 2 weeks.

It may be recalled that PML-N leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif’s mother Shamim Akhtar passed away in London yesterday. PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz are currently in jail.

Funeral prayers of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s mother Begum Shamim Akhtar will be offered at Sharif Medical City while burial will be held at a designated place near Mian Sharif’s grave, once her body will reach Lahore from London.
