Lahore, 23rd October: PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif’s name has been put into the ECL.
Baaghi TV: NAB appeal filed for the inclusion of Shehbaz Sharif in ECL has been fixed for hearing.
According to details, the bench headed by Justice Mushir Alam will hold a hearing on October 27. Shehbaz Sharif’s name was removed from the ECL on the orders of the Lahore High Court, on which the NAB has challenged the decision of the Lahore High Court in the Supreme Court.
It should be noted that Shehbaz Sharif is in the custody of NAB on which several cases are pending.
Investigations have been launched against Nusrat, Salman Shehbaz, Hamza Shehbaz, Rabia Imran and Juria in connection with money laundering.
Shehbaz Sharif has to be investigated as to where the funds came from to form these companies.
Earlier, the National Accountability Bureau had clarified some media reports that NAB Lahore had filed a clean water company case against Shehbaz Sharif.
NAB has filed references of corruption against Shehbaz Sharif in the Hon’ble Accountability Court on the basis of concrete evidence and authentic documents which are currently pending in the Hon’ble Court.
