LAHORE, July 31 (Online Int’l): Former Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar wants the Pakistan team to go hard at England right from the outset and put pressure on the hosts.

The former cricketer has also extended best wishes to the team and encouraged them.

Earlier, Pakistan batting coach Younis Khan had pinned high hopes on the national team`s largely inexperienced batting to notch up 400-plus totals during next month`s three-match series against hosts England.

While speaking to reporters in the PCB, he said that our team will put up a strong show in the batting department to post big totals despite the fact that Pakistan have a rather inexperienced line-up.

Pakistan was scheduled to take on England in three Tests and three Twenty20s to be played from August 5 to September 1.
