The Sikh community members mostly supporters of the pro-Khalistan movement organised a protest in London against Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, who is currently on an official visit to the UK and Ireland.
The Sikh community members who are demanding a separate state of Khalistan staged the protest when the S Jaishankar was leaving in a car after attending an event at the Chatham House think tank in London.
They shouted pro-Khalistan and anti-BJP slogans.
Jaishankar is currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom and Ireland from March 4 to 9, aiming to repair India’s diplomatic ties with both nations after its global image suffered a setback following revelations of its alleged involvement in attacks on Sikh leaders in Canada and the US.
