World-famous Gymnast, Simone Bile disclosed her mental health problems during the Tokyo Olympics, claiming that she’s still scared to perform gymnastics.

In an interview on NBC’s show “Today” which aired on Thursday, Biles shared her emotional struggles or “twisties” while performing at the Gold Over America Tour. Twisties is a mental block characterized by instantly losing track of where one is while performing an act.
“I don’t twist (on tour). I do double lay half-outs, which is my signature move on the floor. That’s never affected me. But everything else weighs so heavy, and I watch the girls do it, and it’s not the same,” said Biles, arguably one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.
She further added, “But the twisting, once I got back, will come back. But I’m still scared to do gymnastics.”
The 24 year old gymnast has won seven Olympic medals, including four gold medals, still struggles with mental health issues accompanied by the grief of an unexpected loss of a family member during the Summer Games.
