Sindh Assembly calls meeting following Punjab and National Assembly

According to the reports of Baaghi TV, Speaker Sindh Assembly, Agha Siraj Durrani, has convened a meeting of Sindh Assembly on Wednesday, May 20.

The Sindh Assembly will convene at 11 a.m. in the Sindh Assembly Building. The situation of Corona virus and the issues arising out of it will be discussed in the House. However, the meeting will be attended by limited members of the Provincial Assembly. Members of the ruling party, and the opposition, will not raise the issue of quorum.

The meeting will be attended by 91 members, bringing the total number of Sindh Assembly members to 168. The social distance in the meeting will be ensured, the temperature of the members will be checked before attending, according to reports.
On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that 4,676 deaths due to corona virus are feared till June 15th. Another estimate is that there could be 2,544 deaths from corona till June 15 while another estimate is that there will be 3,726 deaths from corona till June 15.
