Sindh Assembly Passes Resolution Favoring the 26th Constitutional Amendment
The Sindh Assembly, on Wednesday, passed a resolution favoring the 26th Amendment of the 1973 Constitution through a majority vote. On the occasion, Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah paid tribute to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for playing a vital role in the passing of the 26th Constitutional Amendment. Presenting the resolution, Shah remarked that the passing of the 1973 Constitution was a historic achievement of the PPP Founder, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto likewise, the passing of its 26th Amendment is an achievement for the PPP founder’s grandson, and current party Chairman, Bilawal B.
