The audit report of the budget spent during Corona in Sindh was presented in the assembly.
The audit report revealed that the purchase of PCR kits, substandard hand sanitizers were sold, the report also revealed the handing over of valuable medical machinery to private hospitals.
According to the report, non-standard PCR machines and kits worth Rs. 153.2 million were purchased, the kits and machines were returned by Civil, Jinnah and other government hospitals, but the kits and machines were not returned from Liaquat University of Health Sciences.
A detailed audit report has been handed over to the committee.
