Sindh Govt Extends Smart Lockdown till July 15

KARACHI, July 02 (APP): The Home Department of Sindh has extended lockdown till 15th of this month in the province.

According to a notification, all educational institutions, marriage halls, cinemas, theater, beauty parlors and restaurants will remain closed.

The business timing except pharmacies and essential services will open for five days in week from 6AM to 7PM. Home delivery service will be operational till 11PM.

According to details, 4,339 new cases were reported in the country during the last 24 hours, while 78 more patients died.

According to an update released by the National Command and Operations Center, the new and deadly virus has infected more than 213,500 people across Pakistan, bringing the total death toll to 4,473.

According to the NCAC report, Pakistan has become the 12th country in the world out of 213 countries in terms of number of cases. The total number of deaths from Corona has risen to 4,473, with 4,339 cases reported in the country in 24 hours.

In Pakistan, 1,08,642 Corona patients are being treated in various hospitals and quarantine centers, while the number of people recovering from Corona has risen to 14,694.

According to the NCAC report, 22,128 tests were conducted in the country during 24 hours, while 1,327,638 corona tests have been conducted in Pakistan so far.

According to the report of National Command and Operation Center, the number of Corona cases in Sindh has reached 86,795 while 77,740 cases have been reported in Punjab and 26,938 cases in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Smart lockdown directive issued in various UCs of Karachi

The virus has been confirmed in 13,082 people in Islamabad, 10,608 people in Balochistan, 1,511 cases in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1,135 cases in Azad Kashmir. Out of 1,562 ventilators available for Corona patients, 487 are in use.

In Punjab, 1,784 deaths were reported from Corona. In Sindh, 1,406 people died from Corona, 973 Corona patients died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 129 Corona victims died in Islamabad, 21 in Balochistan, 32 in Azad Kashmir and 28 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
