Somalia and Kenya Strengthening Ties
Mogadishu, Dec 15 (AFP/APP): Somalia announced Tuesday it was severing diplomatic ties with Kenya and recalling its foreign service staff from Nairobi over what it called “recurring” interference in its internal affairs.
“The government took this decision to respond to recurring outright political violations and interference by Kenya against the sovereignty of our country,” Somalia’s information minister Osman Abukar Dubbe told reporters in Mogadishu.
