Speaker holds MP’s baby while chairing debate in New Zealand

The speaker of New Zealand’s Parliament became a prominent figure after the videos of him cradling a baby goes viral on social media on Thursday.
According to reports of Baaghitv, Trevor Mallard, the speaker of parliament of New Zealand, posted images of him cradling a baby of the fellow member of the parliament, MP Tamati Coffey’s newborn son while sitting in the speaker’s chair.

The action has gone viral on social media and has been largely appreciated by the social media users, consequently has earned him lot of fame. Many users has hailed the Mr Mallard for taking on the babysitting duties. Mr Coffey’s son was born via a surrogate to him and his partner Tim Smith in July.
