The Official Secrets Act special court has decided to extend the judicial remand of Imran Khan, the Chairman of PTI and former Prime Minister, for an additional 14 days.

Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulfarnain presided over the closed-door proceedings regarding the cipher case, which took place at Attock Jail on Wednesday. During this session, the decision was made to prolong the ex-Prime Minister’s judicial remand for another 14 days, with the next hearing scheduled for September 27. After the proceedings, Imran Khan left the prison and headed to Islamabad.

Earlier, the PTI legal team had arrived at Attock Jail for the cipher trial proceedings concerning Imran Khan. Stringent security measures had been put in place to ensure the safety and integrity of the case hearing.
