Karachi: Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat in the last match of the one-day international (ODI) series against Pakistan.
The last match of the series is being played at the National Stadium in Karachi.
It should be noted that on September 30, Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 67 runs in the second ODI and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
Earlier, the first match of the series was to be played at the National Stadium in Karachi. However, the match on Sunday was postponed till Monday due to rain requiring two days to prepare the outfield.
Director Domestic Cricket Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Zakir Khan had said that the rain forced us to change the schedule of the series, we are grateful to the Sri Lankan Cricket Board as well as our broadcasters for their willingness to change the schedule.
PCB announced that tickets purchased for Friday’s match can be used for the upcoming matches on September 30 or October 2. Under the PCB policy, people who have bought the tickets for Sunday’s match and if they cannot see the match on Monday, their money will be fully refunded.
