The Supreme Court has disposed off PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s appeal in the Toshakhana case after withdrawal.
During the proceedings, the apex court directed the trial court not to decide the criminal case until the final verdict of the Islamabad High Court. The three-judge bench led by Justice Yahya Afridi heard the case.
Earlier, the Supreme Court replaced Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi with Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi on the bench.
On Wednesday, the court had rejected Imran Khan’s plea to stay the ongoing trial court proceedings against him in the Toshakhana case and advised him to wait for the high court’s order.
