Sushant Singh Case: CBI to conduct an inquiry
Mumbai, 19th August: India’s Supreme Court has issued orders to the country’s federal investigation agency CBI to probe the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
According to reports from the Indian media, the supreme court of the Indian city of Bihar has issued orders today asking the Mumbai police to hand over all evidence it has collected to the agency.
A “fair, competent and impartial probe” is the need of the hour to stop speculation, said the court.

In June this year, the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput mysteriously died and was found hanging from his ceiling in his Mumbai home. His death has led to many speculations and controversies in the industry.
Many bigwigs of Bollywood are under suspicion along with the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
Rhea Chakraborty’s location unknown amid Sushant Singh case
Sushant Singh’s father has filed an FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, who according to him was a gold digger. She has since been questioned by various investigative agencies.
She has denied any wrongdoing and issued a plea to Home Minister Amit Shah for a fair investigation into Sushant’s death. She had also moved the court asking that the case be heard in Mumbai.

The Mumbai Police have been investigating the actual cause of the actor’s death. They have interviewed more than 50 people from the film industry to find out if there is enough evidence to file abetment of suicide charges. The officers are yet to file a final report.
